[Teams] Chelsea vs Wigan: Confirmed Line-ups

By on April 7, 2012

Chelsea welcome Wigan Athletic to Stamford Bridge looking to close the gap on Tottenham and we have the confirmed line-ups.

Roberto Di Matteo’s men currently sit in sixth position in the league, five points off fourth-placed Spurs, and victory today is a must if the Blues are to maintain their push for Champions League football next season.

However, Wigan arrive at the Bridge in good form having won their last two games against Liverpool and Stoke so won’t be rolling over this afternoon. Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Chelsea Team

Cech; Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Bertrand; Essien, Meireles; Sturridge, Mata, Malouda; Drogba.

SUBS: Turnbull, Bosigwa, Fereirra, Romeo, Mikel, Kalou, Torres

Wigan Team

Al Habsi, Alcaraz, McCarthy, Figueroa, Caldwell, Di Santo, Maloney, Moses, McArthur, Boyce, Beausejour

SUBS: Kirkland, Crusat, Watson, Gomez, Sammon, Diame, Stam

We’ll have video highlights up shortly after the game, so check back later.
