[Teams] Wigan vs Man Utd: Confirmed Line-ups

By on April 11, 2012

Manchester United will look to extend their lead over title-rivals Manchester City with a win over relegation threatened Wigan tonight.

Victory for United would at least maintain their eight point lead at the top of the league, with City playing West Brom at the Etihad.

Sir Alex Ferguson has resisted the chance to make too many changes, naming a strong line-up for the game. This is despite United’s complete dominance in this fixture over the years, whereby the Red Devils have won the last 13 meetings between the two sides.

Here are the confirmed line-ups

Wigan Team:

Al Habsi, Alcaraz, McCarthy, Caldwell, Di Santo, Maloney, Moses, McArthur, Boyce, Beausejour, Figueroa

SUBS: Pollitt Crusat, Ben Watson, Gomez, Sammon, Diame, Stam

Man Utd Team

De Gea, Jones, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Giggs, Carrick, Young, Rooney, Hernandez.

SUBS: Amos, Smalling Park, Nani, Welbeck, Cleverley, Pogba

We’ll have video highlights up shortly after the game so check back later.
