[Teams] Arsenal vs Wigan: Confirmed Line-ups

Arsenal will hope to go 8 points clear of fourth-placed Tottenham as they entertain Wigan at the Emirates tonight. Here’s the confirmed line-ups for both teams

Arsenal will hope to go eight points clear of fourth-placed Tottenham as they entertain Wigan at the Emirates tonight.

The Gunners are on a superb run having won eight of their last nine games and are currently five points clear of Spurs, and with their London rivals not in league action this weekend it’s down to Arsenal to take full advantage an extend the gap to eight points.

Wigan arrive at the Emirates in good form themselves having beaten Man Utd 1-0 last time out, so Roberto Martinez’s men shouldn’t be underestimated.

Arsene Wenger has made just one change from the side that beat Wolves, with Rosicky coming back in for Ramsey. Gibbs and Gervinho pass fitness tests to make the bench. Here are the confirmed teams:

Arsenal Team

Szczesny, Sagna, Vermaelen, Djourou, Santos, Song, Arteta, Rosicky, Benayoun, Walcott, Van Persie

SUBS: Fabianski, Gibbs, Squillaci, Ramsey, Gervinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chamakh.

Wigan Team

Al Habsi, Alcaraz, Boyce, Caldwell, Figueroa, Beausejour, Gomez, McArthur, McCarthy, Moses, Di Santo

SUBS: Pollitt, Stam, Diame, Watson, Jones, Sammon, McManaman

We’ll have video highlights up shortly after the game so check back later.
