[Video Highlights] Arsenal 1-2 Wigan: Gunners Blow It

Arsenal blew the chance to move eight points clear of Tottenham after Wigan produced one of the performances of the season to beat the Gunners 2-1 at the Emirates.

The away side were 2-0 up inside the opening eight minutes when Di Santo and Gomez gave the Latics a dream start. Arsenal got back in the game when Vermaelen headed home a Rosicky cross for 2-1 in the 21st minute and you would be forgiven to think the home side would push on to at least secure a point. However, the visitors stood firm and arguably had the better chances to add to the goals as a frustrated Gunners side failed to produce anything of note.
