[Video] Reserves: Liverpool 1-2 Newcastle: Ngoo Strike Not Enough For Reds
Liverpool reserves lost 2-1 at Kirby Academy to Newcastle in the final Premier Reserve League North game of the season.
Goals from Yven Moyo and Mehdi Abeid put the visitors 2-0 before substitute Michael Ngoo pulled one back for the Reds, as the home side finished with 10-men after Suso was shown a straight red 5 minutes from time for a tackle from behind.
Liverpool are likely to finish the season in second place in the league table, as Everton will require an 8-0 win over Arsenal in their final game to leapfrog the Reds. Watch highlights of the defeat to Newcastle below.
