With the summer transfer window fast approaching we’ll aim to keep you up to date with all the latest transfer news. Today sees Man Utd linked with Chelsea target Lucas Moura.
Manchester United are lining up a move for Brazilian sensation Lucas Moura, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Sao Paulo attacker has become one of South America’s hottest properties after bursting on to the scene as a 17-year-old, and was strongly linked with a move to Champions League finalists Chelsea in January (source: Telegraph).
However, the Daily Mirror are reporting that Sir Alex Ferguson is also keen on the now 19-year-old and it’s suggested the Red Devils are lining up a £12m summer move. However, both clubs could face stiff competition from Real Madrid, who are also monitoring his situation.
The report claims that United have already invited Lucas’s father over to England for talks and plan to temp the skilled midfielder to Old Trafford with the offer of first team football.
Moura’s stock is rising by the day and has already made 70 appearances for Sao Paulo and been capped 11 times by Brazil, despite still being a teenager, so Fergie is keen to tie up his signature before his price increases even further.
