[Teams] Stoke vs Arsenal: Confirmed Line-ups

By on April 28, 2012

Arsenal will look to consolidate third place when they take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners currently sit three points clear of fourth-placed Newcastle, who have a game in hand, so a win over the Potters will be vital in securing automatic qualification to next seasons Champions League.

Arsene Wenger is without the injured Theo Walcott who pulled his hamstring during last weeks draw with Chelsea, Gervinho comes in on the right today with Benayoun on the other side.

Here are the confirmed teams:

Stoke Team

Begovic; Shotton, Shawcross, Huth, Wilson; Pennant, Whitehead, Whelan, Etherington; Crouch, Walters

SUBS: Sorensen, Jones, Fuller, Upson, Delap, Jerome, Palacios.

Arsenal Team

Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Song, Ramsey, Rosicky, Gervinho, Van Persie, Benayoun

SUBS: Fabianski, Diaby, Santos, Chamakh, Squillaci, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Coquelin

We’ll have video highlights up short after the game, so check back later.
