[Video] Carlos Vela Scores Late Equaliser As Real Draw With Madrid

By on May 2, 2012

Arsenal striker Carlos Vela continued his recent fine goal-scoring form, as the Mexican grabbed a late equaliser for on loan club Real Sociedad in a 1-1 draw away to Atletico Madrid. Gabi put Madrid ahead just after the break but Vela was on hand to tap home from close range in injury time to rescue a point for the visitors.

After a slow start to life at Sociedad, Vela has now scored 10 goals since the turn of the year and 12 overall this season. The striker has hinted he would like to remain in Spain but Arsene Wenger will make a decision on his future this summer.

Vela has something to offer next premiere league campaign if he is to stay at arsenal, he is now fully ready and even more matured to play the beautiful game, I think he deserve his place in the first team

Think his time is done but i would love to see him podolski and miyaichi as our 3 fighting for the left forward slot with walcott gervinho and the ox fighting for the right. i also wouldnt mind if a rejuvenated arshavin was competing with rosicky and a fit diaby for the role in the hole but i just dont see that on two counts that neither arshavin and in particular diaby are not fit enough.
