[Video] Arsenal 3-3 Norwich: Late Morison Strike Dents Gunners

By on May 5, 2012

Arsenal’s chances of securing third place took a major blow today as an impressive Norwich side held them to a 3-3 draw at the Emirates. The home side took an early lead through Benayoun before Norwich hit back via Hoolahan and Holt to make it 2-1 at the break.

A Van Persie double looked to have won it for Arsenal but sub Morison hit an 85th minute equaliser to leave Arsene Wenger’s side needing help from Aston Villa and Man City on Sunday. Watch highlights from the game:

Its not just aston villa and man city we are relying on. we have to hope spurs and newcastle lose both their last 2 cos you really cant see us beating west brom and even a draw at west brom might not be enough. the fact is we have been worse in our last 6 matches than we were in first 6 our worst ever start. 1 win in the last 6 matches is simply not good enough. that is 6 points from a possible 18. relegation form that.

Wenger is an absolute disgrace. Very poor tactically. 3 2 ten mins to end and blow it. Unacceptable.

For the fist time I am actually worried about us not getting in the champions league. We have to win at Albion if we don’t I can’t see Newcastle or spurs slipping up. We must learn from this season, the players are tired the big performers were asked to much this season, thee have to draw up a rather big list of players to strengthen this team up. We need a natural leader someone who will do their fair share of shouting especially at the defence because no matter how much improved the defence is than last season we need a leader, possibles are: sakho, lucio, chiellini, hummels. Vertonghen is good but I just have the feeling that he isn’t what we need, we need a tallish strong centre back who will lead from the back, the only player is see who talks in defence is sceczney. Then we will need a good option to take pressure of song in my view m’villa or Martinez are best suited. we desperately need someone who will get the team passing all though artetta and Wilshire are brilliant at it I feel we a recognised attacking midfielder the best option is ozil but Madrid would be fools to let him go so I think someone like moutinho is best, and a striker there have been so many mentioned but out of those mentioned I think ba is the best fit or adebeyor.
