I don’t understand this first team thing. I thought if you have two players in a position, you rotate them and in that way avoid fatigue and injury.

If he is prepared to commit his future to a club without gauranteed CL football next season then his attitude must be questioned – I think spuds are hoping to sign him, more than anticipating to.

With the little knowledge i have in football, there is no club in this world that give any player a first team fooball, it’s always your current form that will make you achieve that, and remember epl is the toughest league in the world and no jockers will find it easy.

If Arsenal wanted him they would have already signed him, so it wou;dn’t be a blow to Arsenal.
Arsenal will be appraised of everything Vertonghen is doing by Vermaelen.
If Vertonghen really was watching that game then it could be to see the stadium, the set up, the staff and hear what Spurs are offering -> to have something to compare with Arsenal’s set up, Arsenal’s offer, Arsenal’s stadium and so on …. or he’s trying to create a biffing war between Spurs and us so that Ajax can benefit (why else would his club give Vertonghen permission to talk to the club?)
If Arsenal want him, they’ll have him. Let’s see if Chelsea win the CL Final before believing what we read about the transfer dealings of Spurs.

That you are stupid have you already shown. I believe you dont have a footbal brain? Arsenal want him and they have allready shown interest in him stupid. Tottenham will have the newest training facility and ofc city have it. Their new stadium will be done in 2016 . And IF Chelsea win the champions league, then arsenal is not guaranteed Champions league, they will need too qualify then, i bet you didnt know that. so shut your clown mouth shut. When you start too get some footbal brain let me hear.

There’s a good reason why I didn’t know that Karl …. but do you know what it is? Everybody who knows about UEFA football will know … but you don’t, do ya? 😀

Arsenal have guaranteed their place in next season’s Champions League, which they will enter at the group stage. What Chelsea do in the champions league has no effect on them.

Taxi for the spuds planks commenting on here who are showing their lack of intelligence as usual! If Arsenal want him they will sign him. Simples. Why would any footballer who is half-decent choose that rotten pile of turd, who have the most classless and arrogant fans in the country, instead of a classy club like Arsenal?! Believe me, it won’t be through choice!
