[Teams] Chelsea vs Bayern Munich: Confirmed Line-ups

By on May 19, 2012

Chelsea face their date with destiny as they take on Bayern Munich at the Alianz Arena in the Champions League final. Roberto Di Matteo must do without the services of captain John Terry, who is suspended after being sent off against Barcelona in the semi finals.

Also unavailable through suspension are Branislav Ivanovic, Raul Meireles and Ramires after the trio picked up two yellow cards en route to the final.

The good news for RDM is that both Gary Cahill and David Luiz have been passed fit and start tonight after overcoming hamstring injuries. Ryan Bertrand is a shock selection, with the youngster expected to play in midfield to offer protection to Ashley Cole on the left. Here are the confirmed teams:

Chelsea Team

Cech; Bosingwa, Cahill, Luiz, Cole; Lampard, Mikel, Bertrand; Kalou, Mata; Drogba

SUBS: Turnbull, Ferreira, Essien, Romeu, Malouda, Sturridge, Torres.

Bayern Munich Team

Neuer, Boateng, Lahm, Contento, Ribery, Robben, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Tymoschchuk, Muller, Gomez.

SUBS: Butt, van Buyten, Rafinha, Usami, Pranjic, Petersen, Olic.
