Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud is attracting interest from the Premier League with several newspapers, including the Daily Mail, claiming that Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs interested in signing the hitman.

The 25-year-old enjoyed an excellent season in France, scoring 21 goals and laying on 11 assists to help Montpellier land their first ever Ligue 1 title and with a reported buy out clause of just over £12m, it’s no wonder he’s become one of the most wanted strikers in Europe.

    1 minute in and so far EVERY goal has been down to a terrible GK error….

    No wonder Gervinho and Chamakh got so many goals in the French League, goalkeeping and defending is woeful. It would worry me if he was RVPs replacement.

    Wenger knows what he needs, Giroud is somehow like a utility player…I support him coming to the EMIRATES.

    Whether its goalkeeping errors or not, the fact he is scoring shows he is an opportunist. There are some wonderful strikes there as well, look forward to seeing him in the red and white

    I watched him against Iceland.he‘s good on air and i fancied his height but futbal in England…
