France midfielder Moussa Sissoko has revealed he’s keen on a switch to the Premier League amid reported interest from Liverpool, according to talkSPORT.
The 22-year-old has been hotly-tipped for a summer move after an another excellent season in Ligue 1 with Toulouse, with talkSPORT suggesting Liverpool are keeping tabs on the player.
Sissoko has just 12 months to run on his current contract and has so far failed to agree terms on an extension. The tough-tackling midfielder has drawn comparisons with country-man Patrick Vieira due to his physique and style of play, and the midfielder has alerted Liverpool by confirming his desire to play in the Premier League.
“Everybody knows I’m thirsty to learn about other leagues, especially the Premier League, which I think suits my profile,”
“However, it does not mean that I have failed if I stay at Toulouse. I’m not unhappy here, I have a good position in a good club, where everything is set-up to succeed.”
Sissoko is quoted as saying by talkSPORT.
Sissoko joined Toulouse from Espérance Aulnay in 2007 and has gone on to establish himself as an important first team player, making 168 appearances to date and has also broken in to the French national team set-up.
