Liverpool continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-1 loss to Roma on Wednesday night in Boston.
Jonjo Shelvey went close to opening the scoring before Joe Cole hit the bar with a cheeky lob. American Michael Bradley put Roma ahead with a fine low finish before Alassandro Florenzi made it 2-0 shortly after.
Charlie Adam managed to pull one back with a powerful effort from the edge of the area but Liverpool couldn’t find the equaliser and went down 2-1. Watch highlights from the game, including all the goals, here:
