Manchester City came from behind twice to salvage a point at Afield but they have Martin Skrtel to thank after the defenders wayward back-pass gifted them a late equaliser.
The home side went ahead through Skrtel when he powered home a first half header from a Steven Gerrard corner. City drew level when Reina came and missed a Tevez cross, Yaya Toure was on hand to slot home for 1-1.
However, barely a minute later the home side were ahead again when Suarez curled home a stunning free kick but the champions nicked a point when Skrtel’s poor back pass let in Carlos Tevez, who rounded Reina and slotted home for 2-2.
