André Schürrle

Chelsea have made a late deadline day move to try and sign Bayern Leverkusen forward Andre Shurrle, according to the Guardian.

The Blues have been linked with the German attacker for months and have already had a £16m bid rejected by Leverkusen earlier in the summer, with the German side adamant they want to hang on to their star man.

However, the Guardian claim the European champions have not given up hope of landing the 21-year-old and feel their renewed offer of £20m will be enough to persuade the Bundesliga outfit to sell.

Chelsea are hopeful they can wrap the deal up before they play their Super Cup match against Atletico Madrid tonight.

Should Roberto Di Matteo manage to sign Shurrle, it would throw the future of Daniel Sturridge into doubt, as the Germans arrival would further dent the England strikers first team chances at Stamford Bridge. Liverpool and Tottenham are believed to be monitoring his situation.

Chelsea don’t need to sign any more players. We have brought in:
    Hazard brothers (two midfielders (CAM)
    Marin (winger)
    Moses (winger/striker)
    Oscar (playmaker)
    Azpecuelita (RB)

We have signed in all the positions we needed to strengthen Moses can play as a right winger and a striker. Azpecuilita is a RB who has replaced boswinga. Hazard, Oscar and Marin are all very skillful and creative midfielders.

convert sturridge back to 9 since the transfer window is close.we have alot of player who can play left wing.Victor is there and so on.becos if torres get injury you will smell ur ass D matheio b4 it too late.let there be competition with striker you will see both Torres and Daniel Sturridge will improve their Game.ok best of luck.daniel has speed and strong,he can drilble and has ability to mark.but selfish and that can be corrected.Use what you have to get what you want now!!!.
