Robin van Persie hit a hat-trick as Manchester United came from behind to beat Southampton 3-2 at St Mary’s on Sunday afternoon.
The home side went ahead through Lambert before van Persie made it 1-1 with a trademark left-footed strike. Schneiderlin then headed the Saints ahead once again before van Persie was given the chance to level from the spot, but saw his penalty saved by Davis.
