Chelsea Transfer News: Blues Line-up £30m January Bid For Midfielder

Chelsea are set to launch a £30m bid for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini after David Moyes admitted he would be sold for the right price this January.

Despite the transfer window being closed, there is always transfer gossip doing the rounds in the papers and we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest news during the coming months. Today, Chelsea are linked with Marouane Fellaini.

Chelsea are set to launch a £30m bid for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini after David Moyes admitted he could be sold for the right price this January, according to the Daily Mail.

The giant Belgian cast doubt over his future after publicly admitting he plans to leave the Toffees either in the winter transfer window or next summer. Quoted in the Telegraph last week, he said:

“I am just starting my fifth season at Everton, this will be one of my last,”

“I have seen everything. In January or at the end of the season I will turn to another club or championship.”

These comments are believed to have angered boss David Moyes and the Scot gave the 24-year-old a dressing down to let him know he won’t tolerate such behavior.

The Everton manager has now admitted that the player could be on his way as early as January, should the club receive the right offer. When asked about the chance of Fellaini leaving, Moyes is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying:

‘I won’t say there’s no chance in the next window because everybody is available throughout the world if the offer is right,’ Moyes said.

‘But one thing I know is the transfer window is closed so he’s not going anywhere right now.’

The report claims Chelsea are ready to test Everton’s resolve with a £30m January offer for the former Standard Liege man.

i’ve always thought that fellaini signed his new contract with a get out clause of if the right offer comes he will move, i think he did it in partnership with moyes to allow everton to cash in on him, so good on him as he could have messed the club about by running out his contract and left for nothing

Fellaini’s good player but to me that price’s too high for that kind of a player. He’ll be a good addition but its high time chelsea started checking how they splash cash on new players.

Fellani will add strenth to the midfield to replace the weak feets of frank l. He can also partner wt obi mikel to complement the 4:2:3:1 formation. Rememba merilles and essien are gone to turkey and real madrid respectively

If that rumour is true then Everton would be stupid not to take that kind of money for him.
He’s a good player, but certainly not worth that much.
Maybe 10-15M on the high end, but even that would be a stretch in my opinion.
Everton’s set up makes him better and I’m not sure other teams would be willing to line him up the same way that Moyes does.

He is good player can play as a midfield destroyer, creator n supporting striker,he is ok but for 20 to 24mil not 30mil

gud player wit agility, scoring ability. He can support Mikel to form formidable midfield for chelsea. He can still have gud partnership wit his brother Hazard. So i think Felaini can be of great help when Chelsea lands hims, but at a decent price. 30 mill is too exhorbitant.

Fellain is xo slow plus Mikel will be a huge burden and the slow of the ball will be normal,he is just like Berbatov but the difference is that Berbatov is number 9,we need a striker like Neymar/Cavanni/Falcao/Zlatan/Ben Arfa/Jesus Navas, remember Arsenal have Podolsk,Cazorla,Giroud,Walcott,Wilshere,Gervinho,Man City have Aguero,Dzeko,Teves,Baloteli and many others,Man U have Wellbeck,Kagawa,Buttnet,Rooney,Chicharito,Van Persie,Lampard must not be in the first squad,i don kno the meaning of selling Meireles and leave Mikel and sending Kakuta&Mc Eascheran nd buying Oscar or keeping Moses in the bench this is foolish!

Wel he wil be a gr8 addition 2 d squad bt 30mil is 2 much am sure we cn bring down d price.LAMPARD IS NT DOING BAD Bt i knw dat if mikel is given a gr8 surport then he can move up wards nd com back.gud job frm rdm bt more work in his attacking options.
