Liverpool overcame a dangerous Anzhi Makhachkala side on Thursday night to take control of Group A in the Europa League, with summer signing Oussama Assaidi putting in an excellent disaply.
The Moroccan winger made the move to Anfield in August from Dutch side Heerenveen and was given his chance to impress last night, starting on the left side of midfield.
The 24-year-old didn’t disappoint as he put in a MOTM performance that must put him in Brendan Rodgers thoughts for Sunday’s Merseyside derby with Everton.
