Despite the transfer window being closed, there is always transfer gossip doing the rounds in the papers and we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest news during the coming months. Today, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar’s agent denies Premier League move.

The agent of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has moved to deny reports claiming the Dutch striker has reached an agreement with a Premier League club, according to Sky Sports News.
The Schalke hitman has less than 8 months to run on his current contract and has so far been unable to agree terms over a new deal. Fresh talks between the German outfit and the players representatives have been postponed until next month prompting speculation over his future.
The Netherlands international has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham and recent reports had suggested the 29-year-old had already agreed to join an unnamed the Premier League club.
However, Huntelaar’s agent, Arnoldus Oosterveer, has stepped in to play down these reports insisting that his client was still to decide his next move but would make a decision on his future during the January window.
“There is no agreement with any English club and Klaas has not yet decided anything about his future,”
“He has not decided if he wants to play in Italy, Spain, England or stay in Germany. He is planning his future in the winter.”
Oosterveer is quoted as saying by Sky Sports
When asked about the possibility of Huntelaar extending his contract with Schalke, he added:
“Currently no hypothesis is rejected because in football you never know.
“So you [will] have to wait to know Huntelaar’s future.”

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are all believed to be in the market for a striker when the window re-opens in the new year, and the trio could do a lot worse than look towards Huntelaar. The Dutchman has been prolific throughout his entire career scoring an incredible 256 goals in 392 appearances so far.

Klaas Huntelaar has already agreed terms with Tottenham. Arsenal will have to stick with Giroud and Liverpool are no longer a serious contender.

Why would him signing for the bagel eaters mean that Arsenal “have” to stick with Giroud? Would that meant that they can’t try to sign anyone else? lol

Will only go to Liverpool IF he plays premier league. They were unlucky not to beat Man City & Man Utd & Assenal are on the way out. Tottenham are always promising but fall short of ever being anything. He is quality & proven but dont think he will leave.

I would love to see Huntelaar at Spurs. If he’s “good enough for Liverpool” then Spurs have got to be a better fit for him these days.

Only suited to Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea to be frank. I don’t think his ambitions are lower than these clubs. He will only be guaranteed trophies in these clubs. He is too good for other clubs at the moment.
