[Teams] Udinese vs Liverpool: Confirmed Teams

By on December 6, 2012

Liverpool are in Italy to face Udinese in their final Europa League Group A fixture looking to secure qualification to the last 32.

The Reds currently sit second in the table – level on points with Young Boys – so a win for Brendan Rodgers side would ensure safe passage to the knockout stages, and a draw would also be enough should the Swiss side fail to beat Anzhi in the groups other fixture. However, if Liverpool lose they are out regardless of the other result as Young Boys.

Rodgers has taken a strong squad for the game with striker Luis Suarez making his first start in the competition. Pepe Reina also starts in goal with Martin Skrtel and Glen Johnson lining up in defence. Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Udinese Team

Padelli, Danilo, Faraoni, Pasquale, Armero, Heurtaux, Badu, Pereyra, Pinzi, Ranégie, Fabbrini

Subs:

Liverpool Team

Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Carragher, Skrtel, Henderson, Sahin, Allen, Suso, Downing, Suarez.

Subs: Jones, Cole, Coates, Sterling, Shelvey, Assaidi, Wisdom.
