[Teams] Arsenal vs West Brom: Confirmed Line-ups

By on December 8, 2012

Arsenal welcome high-flying West Brom to the Emirates today looking to close the gap on the top-four.

We head into the game off the back of last weeks disappointing 2-0 loss to Swansea, a defeat that leaves us sitting 10th in the table, but we’re only 5 points off third place so a win could catapult us up the table if other results go our way.

Boss Arsene Wenger is without Laurent Koscielny and Theo Walcott for the game. Gervinho starts on the left with Chamberlain on the right supporting Giroud up top. Bacary Sagna returns after being an injury doubt for the game, while Lukas Podolski is also on the bench along with Rosicky.

Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

Arsenal Team

Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Giroud.

Subs: Martinez, Jenkinson, Squillaci, Coquelin, Ramsey, Rosicky, Podolski.

West Brom Team

Myhill; Reid, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell; Morrison, Mulumbu; Odemwingie, Gera, Brunt; Long

Subs: L Daniels, Popov, Dorrans, Fortune, Rosenberg, Tamas, Lukaku.
