Chelsea Send Top Scout To Watch Spanish Midfielder

By on December 9, 2012

Despite the transfer window being closed, there is always transfer gossip doing the rounds in the papers and we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest news during the coming months. Today, Chelsea are linked with Sergio Busquets.

Sergio Busquets Barcelona

Chelsea are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets but will have to wait until the summer to have a chance of landing him, according to the Mirror.

The report claims that the Blues sent top scout Scott McLachlan to watch the Spanish midfielder in action at the Nou Camp last week and Chelsea are said to be ‘desperate’ to land the 24-year-old.

However, the Mirror claim that while Barcelona wont consider selling Busquets in January the La Liga giants may be willing to do business in the summer should the player indicate he wants a move and an offer of around £30m come in.

It’s difficult to believe why Busquets would want out of the Nou Camp at this point. He’s a first team regular, starting 13 of their 15 league games so far this season, is playing alongside his international colleagues and lets face it, he’s playing in one of the finest teams in living memory. So I wouldn’t be getting too excited about this piece of transfer gossip Chelsea fans, but you never know, stranger things have happened in the world of football!

Moreblessing,we are short in midfield. Especially since we don’t have a deep laying playmaker. I can’t believe Chelsea want to buy the king of divers though. He’ll get yellow cards left right and centre in the EPL. Is he fast enough for the high intensity and pace of English football? I don’t think so.

He has a super quick mind and brilliant decision making. He’ll find it easy. Look at how Michu is tearing up the premiership when he was an average player playing in a relegated side last season in la liga.

We need Falcao at all costs. He is lethal and could be the right replacement for Drogba.Drogba won big games for Chlesea single handedly but Torres wants to be fed like a baby.Im far from convinced he is back to his best.We need Falcao.Higuin is good but injury prone so let Madrid keep their player!!!

If chelsea can buy sergio Busquet to support Mikel & Ramire, it is a good decision but I’m highly concerned with the forward, I believe Torres is now in better form & Falcao will be a great addition to chelsea squad to support Torres & I believe chelsea fans will be very happy to see Falcao @ standford bridge. @ B.CACO still blueblooded.
