[Teams] West Ham vs Liverpool: Confirmed Line-ups

By on December 9, 2012

Liverpool are in London to face West Ham at Upton Park looking to get themselves within touching distance of the top four.

The Reds currently sit 12th in the league but a win today could take the Merseysiders to within four points of fourth-placed Tottenham if other results go their way.

Brendan Rodgers must make do without the services of star striker Luis Suarez after the Uruguayan picked up his fifth booking of the season last week and is therefore suspended, so Jonjo Shelvey starts in a ‘false nine’ role up front.

Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

West Ham Team

Jaaskelainen; Demel, Reid, Tomkins, O’Brien; Diame, Nolan, Noble; Taylor, Cole, Jarvis

Subs: Spiegel, McCartney, Tomkins, Maiga, Spence, O’Neil, Moncur

Liverpool Team

Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Skrtel, Agger, Lucas, Allen, Gerrard, Sterling, Downing, Shelvey.

Subs: Jones, Cole, Henderson, Coates, Carragher, Suso, Morgan.
