[Teams] Everton vs Tottenham: Confirmed Line-ups

By on December 9, 2012

Tottenham take on Everton at Goodison Park this afternoon looking to cement their place in the top four.

Spurs are currently fourth on goal difference from West Brom but a win today over the Toffees will open the gap and also move the Lillywhites level on points with third-placed Chelsea. But the home side have top-four aspirations of their own and are only three points adrift of Tottenham so a win today will put David Moyes side right in the mix.

Andre Villas-Boas must make do without the services of Gareth Bale after the Welshman picked up a hamstring problem last week, so Clint Dempsey is expected to move to the left side. Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

Everton Team

Howard, Coleman, Baines, Jagielka, Distin, Osman, Pienaar, Gibson, Fellaini, Mirallas, Jelovic.

Subs: Mucha, Heitinga, Oviedo, Naismith, Hitzlsperger, Barkley, Vellios

Tottenham Team

Lloris, Walker, Gallas, Caulker, Vertonghen, Lennon, Sandro, Dembele, Dempsey, Adebayor, Defoe

Subs: Friedel, Naughton, Huddlestone, Townsend, Livermore, Falque, Sigurdsson
