[Teams] Wigan vs Arsenal: Confirmed Line-ups

By on December 22, 2012

Arsenal take on Wigan Athletic in the early Saturday kick-off and we have the confirmed line-ups for the big game.

We head into the match sitting in fifth place in the Premier League table but just two points off third so a win would see us climb above Chelsea and Tottenham for the time being. So we need to put pressure on our rivals today and have a great opportunity to do so against a struggling Wigan side who sit in the relegation zone.

Arsene Wenger has no fresh injury worries following Monday’s 5-2 win over Reading, and he names an un-changed side which means Theo Walcott continues up front. Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

Wigan Team

Al Habsi, Kone, McCarthy, Jones, Di Santo, Maloney, McArthur, Boyce, Beausejour, Stam, Figueroa.

Subs: Pollitt, Caldwell, Gomez, McManaman, Boselli, Fyvie, Golobart

Arsenal Team

Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla, Podolski, Chamberlain, Walcott.

Subs: Mannone, Jenkinson, Koscielny, Coquelin, Ramsey, Arshavin, Gervinho.
