By on December 30, 2012

Everton suffered their first home defeat of the season as Chelsea ran out 2-1 winners at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Toffees took an early lead when Pienaar was on hand to lash home a loose ball after Anichebe had hit the post. However, the visitors drew level just before half time when Lampard headed home a Ramires cross before the Chelsea veteran won it in the 72nd minute when he fired home from close range.

The win moves Chelsea back above Tottenham into third with Rafa Benitez men just four points off third-placed Man City with a game in hand. Watch all the goals from todays game below:

Apart from two away games in Manchester, I cannot see Chelsea losing again this season. Even then Chelsea must be a chance of a draw against United and a win against City. RA would have to be insane to let Lamps go. He surely is the most prolific goal scoring midfielder of the modern era.
He is as fit as Giggs and could fill a similar role at Chelsea.
