[Teams] Southampton vs Chelsea: Demba Ba Starts

Chelsea take on Southampton at St Mary’s on Saturday afternoon in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

The Blues will begin the defence of their trophy after sealing their fourth FA Cup in six years with victory over Liverpool at Wembley last May.

Boss Rafa Benitez has handed a debut to new signing Demba Ba as he makes five changes from the side that lost to QPR in midweek. Ba replaces Fernando Torres up front while Juan Mata and Eden Hazard return to the starting line-up.

Frank Lampard returns to the bench as Ashley Cole captains the side in the absence of John Terry. Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game.
