[Teams] Swansea vs Arsenal: Confirmed Line-ups

By on January 6, 2013

Arsenal are in Wales to take on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

The Swans have beaten us in the previous two encounters, including an impressive 2-0 win at the Emirates in December, so we will be out for revenge today. Arsene Wenger will be looking to avoid crashing out at the first hurdle for the first time since 1996.

He has named a strong line-up with only three changes from the side that drew to Southampton. Out go Thomas Vermaelen, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski with PerMertesacker, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud coming in.

The good news for Gooners is that Michu is on the bench for the hosts. Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

Swansea Team

Vorm, Tiendalli, Chico, Bartley, Davies, Britton, de Guzman, Ki, Routledge, Dyer, Graham.

Subs: Tremmel, Michu, Hernandez, Monk, Schechter, Rangel, Agustien

Arsenal Team

Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey, Walcott, Cazorla, Giroud.

Subs: Martinez, Vermaelen, Santos, Coquelin, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Podolski

Very Very strong team and moreover it will be the “ORIGINAL” Arsenal play because we are going against them in the formal 4-4-2 way so according to me, Be it its a Gunner style win tonight!!
