Klopp Hints At Lewandowski Move

With the January transfer window now open for business we’ll be keeping you up-to-date with all the latest transfer gossip. Today, is Lewandowski set for a move?

Robert Lewandowski

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has hinted Manchester United target Roberto Lewandowski will leave the club but insists they will do all they can to keep hold of him, according to talkSPORT.

The report claims the 24-year-old hitman is expected to move to Manchester United at the end of the season after being unable to agree terms over a new contract, with his current deal expiring in the summer of 2014.

Klopp has confirmed the Bundesliga champions will try and persuade Lewandowski to commit his future to the club, but claims as it stands it looks likely the Polish striker will leave. The Dortmund boss is quoted by talkSPORT as saying:

“We will offer Robert a good contract but we have to see what the players wants,” Klopp said.

“We must respect the decision of the player and, in some cases, wait. Right now there are signs that suggest we may be heading for a divorce but we will see what we can do.”

Lewandowski has been with the German giants for two-and-a-half years after moving from Polish side Lech Poznań in 2010. He has been a huge hit with Dortmund, scoring 54 goals in 115 appearances for the club.

However, with his contract up in 18 months Dortmund will have a tough decision to make in the summer if they can’t persuade the striker to sign fresh terms. talkSPORT claim United are his most likely destination if he does leave, and he would forge a devastating strike-force with Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney if he does make the move to Old Trafford.

It’ll be great if lewandowski moves to united. Just look the formation up front. 1st team : Rvp and lewandowski will be target man, Rooney in the second line as shadow striker. 2nd team : chicha and dhany, with kagawa supporting from behind. Although I don’t believe CR7 will come.but if that’s so, imagine in the 1st team CR7 on the left flank, with valencia on the others side.2nd team flank will be zaha and young. My dream team for next season : 1st-GK de gea,RB Rafa,CB vida rio,LB evra,CM strootman wanyama,LW CR7,AM Roo,RW valencia,ST RvP lewandowski.2nd : Gk lindegaard,RB jones,CB smalling evans, LB fabio/buttner, CM Carrick ando/cleverley(both are good),LW young,AM kagawa,RW zaha,ST dhany chicha. Still I don’t believe ronaldo will come, but lewandowski, wanyama or strootman will boost our team next summer.

If my dream team will come true, united will have frightening squad in the world and could dominate football. But it will cost much money,so fergie should sell nani, bebe, macheda, and tell the board to realize the dream team for (perhaps)the last season for fergie.glory glory man utd !!

Seeing Lewandoski in manUnited color is a pleasure I ll honor, remember the best form of defense is attack so once our attacking department is dangerous it will help the remaining section, taking for example its the attack that help us in the to where we are in the league and other competition so, addition of Lewandoski will be highly instrumental and welcome
