[Teams] Stoke vs Chelsea: Confirmed Line-ups

By on January 12, 2013

Chelsea will be hoping to get back on track after two successive defeats as they take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Last weekend’s 1-0 home loss to Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League was followed by a 2-0 loss to Swansea in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday so the pressure is back on Rafa Benitez to get back to winning ways.

The Spanish boss has made a big call in dropping Fernando Torres for the game with Demba Ba preferred up front. John Terry returns to the bench, but Petr Cech is back between the sticks after missing 3 weeks through injury.

Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

Stoke Team

Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Wilkinson, Walters, Whelan, Nzonzi, Etherington, Adam, Jones

Subs:  Sorensen, Whitehead, Upson, Kightly, Crouch, Shotton, Jerome.

Chelsea Team

Cech; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Luiz, Cole; Hazard, Lampard, Ramires, Bertrand; Mata, Ba

Subs: Turnbull, Torres, Oscar, Ferreira, Marin, Terry, Ake
