[Video Goals] Arsenal 5-1 West Ham: Five-Star Gunners Batter Hammers

By on January 23, 2013

Arsenal put in a five-star display to come from behind to beat West Ham 5-1 at the Emirates on Wednesday night.

The visitors took a shock lead when Collison fired home from the edge of the area following a weak headed clearance from Giroud, but their lead didn’t last long as Arsenal hit back within minutes with Lukas Podolski hammering home a thunderbolt from 25 yards.

The German then set up three quick fire goals at the start of the second half with Giroud, Cazorla and Walcott making it 4-1 before Giroud bagged a fifth inside the hour mark. Watch all the goals here:

@Gooner Mac; “weak headed clearance from Giroud”? I strongly disagree, it was a good headed clearance but no onewas picking up the two West Ham players on the edge of the box.
