Tottenham’s in-form winger Gareth Bale was in action for his country on Wednesday night as he helped Wales beat Austria 2-1.
Bale has scored two wonder-goals against Norwich and West Brom in recent weeks for Spurs and he continued his recent goal-scoring exploits with another superb goal last night. The 23-year-old opened the scoring after collecting a long pass with a brilliant first touch before powering in on goal and slotting home for 1-0. Sam Vokes made it 2-0 in the second half before Janko pulled on back with 15 minutes to go.
