[Teams] Sunderland vs Arsenal: Koscielny & Ramsey Start

By on February 9, 2013

Arsenal are in the north east to take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light looking to close the gap on the top-four.

The Gunners currently sit sixth, four points off fourth-placed Tottenham who’re playing Newcastle in Saturday’s early kick off (score 2-1 to Spurs at time of writing).

Boss Arsene Wenger has been handed a boost with the news that defender Laurent Koscielny has been passed fit for the game after shaking off a calf problem. He lines up next to Per Mertesacker at the back. Aaron Ramsey comes in ahead of Lukas Podolski who drops to the bench.

**UPDATE** Koscielny pulled up late in the warm up with his calf injury so is forced to miss the game. Carl Jenkinson comes in.
