FA Cup Quarter Final Draw: Chelsea On Course To Meet United, City Get Barnsley

The draw for the quarter finals of the FA Cup was conducted on Sunday evening and once again it’s thrown up some intriguing ties.

Holders Chelsea breezed past Brentford 4-0 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday lunchtime to book their place in the fifth round and if they see off Middlesborough they will play Manchester United at home if United overcome Reading on Monday night at Old Trafford.

Premier League champions Manchester City beat Leeds United 4-0 to take their place in the hat and they have drawn Barnsley at the Etihad Stadium in the next round, Oldham or Everton drew 2-2 and the winners of the replay will play Wigan, who saw off Huddersfield 4-1, at home.

Millwall booked their place in the quarter finals after beating LutonTown 3-0 on Saturday and they will play Arsenal’s conquerors Blackburn Rovers at the New Den to contest a place in the semi finals.
