Man Utd Star: Bale Isn’t On Messi Or Ronaldo’s Level

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has claimed Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale isn’t on the same level as Cristiano Ronalso or Lionel Messi just yet.

Tottenham’s Gareth Bale has been hitting the headlines in recent weeks after some stunning performances have helped Spurs up to third in the Premier League table as well as reaching the last 16 of the Europa League. The Welshman’s exploits have seen fans and pundits alike calling him one of the best players in the world with many comparing him with the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, who was once a team-mate of Ronaldo’s at Old Trafford, says that Bale isn’t on the same level as the Barcelona and Real Madrid pair just yet and he’ll have to continue to show his brilliance for another 2-3 years before he can be talked about in the same breath as the world’s greatest two players.
