Manchester United striker Robin van Persie was in action for his country on Friday night as Holland eased to a 3-0 win over Estonia to take control of Group D in their World Cup qualifying campaign.

After Rafa van der Vaart had put the hosts ahead, the United man got himself on the score-sheet when he swept home at the front post to put the Dutch 2-0 up. Schaken finished the scoring with a late third to put Holland 5-points clear of Hungry and well on course to qualifying for the World Cup finals. Watch RVP’s strike here:
