England take on Group leaders Montenegro in tonight’s crucial World Cup qualifier and boss Roy Hodgson has made six changes from the starting eleven that thrashed of San Marino 8-0 on Friday night.

Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard and Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole return with Leighton Baines and Frank Lampard making way. Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Manchester United’s Ashley Young and Tottenham duo Jermain Defoe and Kyle Walker also drop to the bench.

United duo Danny Welbeck and Michael Carrick also come in along with Liverpool’s Glen Johnson and Man City’s James Milner. Here are the confirmed line-ups:
