Mourinho Wants Brazilian Striker After Agreeing 3 Year Deal To Return To Chelsea
Jose Mourinho has verbally agreed a three-year deal to return as Chelsea boss this summer and wants to make Brazilian striker Hulk his first signing at the Bridge
Despite the transfer window being closed there is still plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Jose Mourinho wants Hulk to be his first signing.
Jose Mourinho has verbally agreed a three-year deal to return as Chelsea boss this summer and wants to make Brazilian striker Hulk his first signing, according to the Daily Star.
The report claims Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes met with Roman Abramovich and his advisers in London this week where a three-year deal worth £12m-a-year was verbally agreed with the Blues owner promising to give the Portuguese coach total control over transfer activity.
Mourinho is still in charge at Real Madrid and guided them through to the last four of the Champions League on Tuesday night with a 5-3 aggregate win over Galatasaray, but the Star believe he will resign his post at the end of the season, even if they win the competition, with a return to Stamford Bridge on the cards.
The newspaper suggests the 50-year-old has already identified possible transfer targets with Brazilian striker Hulk understood to be his top priority, and he wants Abramovich to use his close ties with Zenit St Petersburg owners Gazprom – who paid the Russian £6.5b for his stake in the Sibneft oil company – to help seal the deal.

Mourinho is no stranger to Hulk having previously worked together at both Victoria and Porto in the past and the powerful forward would provide Chelsea with a real focal point up front if they manage to lure him to the Premier League this summer.
