Chelsea came from behind to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon to secure a top-four finish this season and it was a special day for Frank Lampard as his brace ensured he’s now the Blues all-time record goal-scorer.
Villa took an early lead through Benteke before both Ramires then Benteke were sent off for second bookable offences. The Blues then levelled on the hour mark when Lampard curled home from the edge of the area before he then not only won the game, but made himself the clubs all-time record goal-scorer, with a late winner.
