With the summer transfer window set to re-open, there is plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Chelsea are said to have agreed a fee for Edinson Cavani and Liverpool target Pierre Emerick Aubameyang eyes a summer move.

Blues agree €50m Cavani deal?

First up and talkSPORT are reporting that Chelsea have agreed a €50m (£42.5m) deal with Napoli for the signing of striker Edinson Cavani this summer.

The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for Atletico Madrid hitman Radamel Falcao in recent months but with the Colombian seemingly heading for Monaco, it appears Roman Abramovich has switched targets and made his move for the much-hyped Cavani.

talkSPORT suggest a €50m (£42.5m) fee has already been agreed between the two clubs which includes a number of performance-related add-ons, and the Uruguayan has been offered a deal worth £145,000-a-week to move to Stamford Bridge.

If true, this would be a sensational coup for Chelsea and if your going to miss out on Falcao, Cavaini is the next best thing out there at the minute and he would surely turn the west Londoners back into title challengers again.

Liverpool target eyes move

Next up and talkSPORT are reporting that Liverpool Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is eyeing a move this summer but has revealed his long-term dream is to one day play for Real Madrid.

The Saint Etienne hitman has scored 19 goals in 35 games in Ligue 1 this season to help the club push for European qualification next term. His form has attracted interest from throughout Europe with talkSPORT claiming that Liverpool have joined the likes of Inter Milan, PSG, Fiorentina and Roma in showing an interest in the £13m rated forward.

The 23-year-old has now admitted he’ll decide at the end of the season where he’ll be playing his football next year but revealed his dream is to one day play for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

“I cannot fail with my decision, whatever I decide to do will not be a mistake,”

“The reflection will be long and I want to negotiate with the club that offers the best for me in every way.

“My dream is to one day play for Real Madrid more than anything because my mother is Spanish.” Aubameyang is quoted as saying by talkSPORT

I think Cavani is not a bad choice. He,s good for chelsea as we only need a good finisher, he,s one of them

Ba should not be sold,we need options in the team next season,we want a full squard, lukaku should be recalled and give a chance, lots of trophies to win next season like 6 of them, torres should be sold he’s not consistent, albeit he has tried

Cavani is younger than both Rooney and Falcao, and would fit in Chelsea well.
However we should give Ba more match time and bring back Lukaku. Torres doesn’t look like recovering his old form, and is becoming a liability.
After watching the Spanish Cup FInal Courtios should also come back. After averaging over 60 games a season, surely Cech and Courtios could share the stopper role.
