Premier League Clubs TV Revenue Figures Revealed – Find Out How Much Your Team Made

Here are figures each club earned through television revenue during the Premier League season and unsurprisingly champions Manchester United came on on top.

The Daily Mail has published the figures each individual club earned through television revenue during the 2012/13 Premier League season and unsurprisingly champions Manchester United came on on top.

The table (below) shows United earned £60.8m from TV money with their games shown live 25 times throughout the season – 3 more than Arsenal and Liverpool who were featured 22 times each.

Former champions Manchester City came in second with £58.1m after being broadcast 21 times during the season, Arsenal generated the third highest revenue with £57.1m while north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur were fourth on £55.8m.

Surprisingly, Chelsea – who finished third in the league – were chosen for just 16 live matches and came in fifth for revenue with £54.9m generated. However, with the expected arrival of Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge it’s likely the Blues will become a more appealing package next season.

While these figures might look impressive, the numbers will sky-rocket even further next season when the new TV deal kicks in that will see BT Sport join the party.

The Mail claims the new deal will see current low earners such as Sunderland and Stoke pocket around £60m next season, which equates roughly to the same figure champions United earned last season, while the 2013/14 champions can expect to receive around £100m from TV earnings – £40m more than last term.
