Fabregas Ready To Move If £30m Release Clause Is Met

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have been placed on alert with Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas willing to return to the England this summer.

With the summer transfer window set to re-open, there is plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Cesc Fabregas is open to a return to the Premier League.

Barcelona-Cesc-Fabregas

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have been placed on alert with Cesc Fabregas open to a return to the Premier League after becoming frustrated with his role at Barcelona, according to the Telegraph.

Fabregas spent eight years in north London with Arsenal before rejoining his boyhood club back in 2011. However, his time back at Barcelona hasn’t quite gone according to place with the 26-year-old struggling to establish himself in the starting eleven and when he does play he’s often played in an unfamiliar role up front.

The Telegraph claim the midfielder is growing tired of his role and being left on the bench for key fixtures and is prepared to move back to England is his £30m release clause is met with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City all believed to have been made aware of his discontent.

The Gunners are reported to have inserted a clause in Fabregas’ contract that ensures they have first option to buy the midfielder back if Barca decide to sell, but it remains to be seen whether Arsene Wenger would be willing to spend a large chunk of his transfer kitty on the player.

Manchester United are understood to be on the look out for midfield reinforcements due to the retirement of Paul Scholes and the continued doubts over the long-term fitness of Darren Fletcher and a player of Fabregas’ quality would be a huge signal of intent following the loss of Sir Alex Ferguson.

With Chelsea and City getting new managers this summer you’d expect both clubs to re-shape their squad’s in the coming months and if a player like Fabregas is available, it’s no surprise the wealthy duo are linked with a move but if he does return to the Premier League I’d say Arsenal and United would be the most likely destination.

If fabregas is coming back to England it should be to no other club but Arsenal. Fabregas has a cluase in his Barca contract that includes Arsenal’s first Refusal. But there’s no direct quote from Fabregas with regards to his unhappiness at Barca. So where did source come from?

Sorry, but in my view, Fabregas with a £30million label is simply not worth it to the present Arsenal squad.
Half that sum, maybe, but Keown was the only returnee in our history and let’s keep it like that.

Of course, except for Sol Campbell, Jens Lehman, and T. Henry all having a second go in recent seasons.

30 Million is the release clause, but don’t forget Barca still hasn’t pay the full Transfer Fee for Fabregas, so for Arsenal to buy back, it might be much less than that amount.
Personally I don’t think he is going anywhere, at least not the coming season.

I recall when we sold him that Wenger stuck 2 clauses in the contract. 1st was that we have firtst right to resign if they ever sell him. & 2nd that we get 50% of the transfer when/if they do sell him. So if we activated his 30m realease claus, we would actually get 15m back. Plus the cash they still owe us for the original sale……so its basically 10m for Fab4 not a bad deal I’d say.

poor research on article. Arsenal have first refusal and set figure of 30mil pound to re-sign him. All other clubs have a release clause of 175mil so worthless article.

175m buy out clause is just there to put other clubs off they are never met arsenal have a buy back clause for the same fee we were paid but they still owe us money so will be cheaper if they sell to another club we get 50% of the fee so if they sell for 30m they only keep 15m meaning the only club they would get there money back on plus debts on the player cleared is arsenal pus fabregas publicly said this week he would never sign for united. Personally think he’ll give barca another year before he gives up

Barc still owe arsenal at least 5 million from the original transfer so take this off give them vm providing we get at least 2 proven centre backs
Have him back in a heart beat.

Whoever wrote this article is an idiot. They should be in line at the jobcentre. All these journalists who hear a rumour and claim it to be a fact should descend into hell. why can’t they just wait until something is official rather then guess and hope its true, just so that they can say that they were the first to break the news.

BTW Fabregas’ release clause is £171m you twats

Balague told Sky Sports News of Fabregas: “He is surprised by the rumours that are so strong in England.

“The club has definitely told me this evening that they have got no intention whatsoever of selling him.

“His buyout clause, in case anybody is interested, is €200million (£171m), which is a little bit expensive. In any case it is a deterrent for people to come and try to poach him away.

Cesc fabregas is nt realy worth dat big amount. But any club interested in him should pay what they have, He (fabrigas) wil complete the balance 4 his exit like he did in arsenal.

Hopefully he comes back to Arsenal. He’s always said that the two teams he will only play for are Barcelona and Arsenal. Also, he won’t cost 30 million because Barca still owe some money from the transfer in 2011.

We all told Cesc the grass was not greener on the Barca side. He would be welcomed back home because he actually has Arsenal DNA and his passing ability would feed Giroud goals until he was stuffed.

Dream on. He is not RVP. He won’t turn his back on us. Nice to see those comments from Man united fans who used to say Anderson is better than Fabregas and Rooney is better than RVP.

Csec Fabregas is the kind of player that manchester united are looking for. So that they will still be maintaing their title in the next season.
