Arsenal Transfer Targets Assessed: 3 Spaniard’s Including Fabregas, Villa & More…

Arsenal continue to be linked with numerous players from around the globe. Here we assess three more faces that could potentially be on their way to the Emirates.

As the opening of the Summer transfer window draws ever closer, Arsenal continue to be linked with numerous players from around the globe. Here, ‘Gunner333’ assesses three more faces that could potentially be on their way to the Emirates.

David Villa Barcelona

David Villa

There are many positions we need to fill in order to be successful next season and none are more longed for than a quality front-man. Forget creativity or leadership, the main trait we need our new striker to possess is the ability to find the net week-in, week-out. There is no-one more equipped to be this clinical than Barcelona hitman David Villa.

The Mirror are one of several media outlets who claim Arsene Wenger is interested in bringing him to the Emirates this summer, and with his vast experience and superb finishing he would give us the end product to the divine football we can play already. However, his age and susceptibility to long term injuries certainly go against him.

Verdict:  ’50/50′ in my opinion.

Cesc Fabregas

Already an Arsenal legend, Cesc has been linked with a move back to the Prem after rumours suggested he is unhappy at Barcelona, with the Emirates thought to be his favoured destination. He delighted Gooners for eight years with his beautiful football ability and respected leadership and would be welcomed back to North London any time.

However, it would require a large amount of money to re-sign the 26-year-old Spaniard and with his reported frustrations also sparking interest from champions Manchester United, there is a feeling that it could be difficult to bring him back.

Verdict: I can see Cesc staying at Barca for at least another year

José Pepe Reina

With Szczesny under fire and Fabianski out of favour, some might say we still require a top player between the sticks. Valdes has already ruled out a move to Arsenal this summer as he wishes to play-out his contract at Barca, whilst his counterpart and the man he may even replace at Anfield next year, is also rumoured to be on Wenger’s Summer shopping list. His one-on-one capability and confidence when facing penalties shows how many vital points he may earn us if he arrives but a deal with Liverpool could prove tricky.

Verdict: Unlikely

It is more beter to buy expriense players than to be spending unessesary money for so called jiroud due to fees. So as for me, i want arsenal to buy villa and dani alves

Villa is good, a world class but he old and injury prone. We should look a younger sriker with ample experience like higuian/gomez/soldado/lewandowski/ or rooney only if le prof. Draft him well and make him play as a point man rather than a support striker which he is naturally known for

Why Mr Wenger he doesn’t want to say the truth the fans who loves Arsenal FC that he’s not gonna buy any exp and tlt players in this transfer window ruther than giving us headache and stress for assessing and targets players

With all regard mr. Wenger, i trust and believe in your ability. Indeed you are a man of great experience. We the fan of Arsenalfc love and respect you,but it should be clear to you that a great club as Arsenal can not continue year in year out without trophy, that is the joy of us the fans. Please a lot of finger had been pointing at you to be the decider of every failure in the club, i want you to prove everyone of us wrong these time. If u could sign Felainni, Higuain and Bender, and if fantabulous Fabrigas want to come back,he’s welcome, but ensure to bring in qualities the moment our medical teams retures. I remain loyal… Gooners for life.
