Chelsea table £12m Bruma bid
First up and the Metro are reporting that Chelsea have submitted a £12m bid for Sporting Lisbon ace Bruma after Real Madrid entered the chase for the highly-rated winger.
The report claims that Blues boss Jose Mourinho has decided to make his move after watching the 18-year-old put in some impressive display’s at this summer’s Under-20 World Cup, where he’s also caught the attention of Spanish giants Madrid.
Chelsea are believed to have been tracking Bruma for some time and the Metro suggest they made their official approach earlier this week, contacting Lisbon to submit a formal £12m offer which would be paid in full up front with the option for the attacker to remain on loan in Portugal next season.
The Blues have close ties with the player having signed his brother, Buomesca, three years ago but injuries saw the youngster struggle to make an impact during his time at Stamford Bridge and Mourinho is now hoping that negative experience won’t go against them as they look to sign the exciting winger nicknamed ‘the new Ronaldo’.
