Tottenham Hotspur completed the Braclays Asia Trophy with a resounding 6-0 win over South China FC at Hong Kong Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Following on from Wednesday’s 3-1 defeat to Sunderland, Spurs eased past the hosts thanks largely to a Jermain Defoe hat-trick. An own goal opened the scoring before Clint Dempsey made it 2-0 inside 33 minutes. Defoe then netted his treble before an Andros Townsend free-kick ensured it was a comfortable afternoon for the north Londoners.
