Arsenal and Manchester City conclude their pre-season preparations when they take on each other in a friendly in Helsinki this afternoon.

The Gunners head into the game off the back of a disappointing Emirates Cup that saw them fail to win either of their two games, drawing 2-2 with Napoli before letting a 1-goal lead slip against Galatasaray.

Both Arsene Wenger and Manuel Pellagrini have named strong sides so we should be in for a good game. Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Arsenal Team

Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere,  Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Podolski.

Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Hayden, Giroud, Cazorla and Zelalem, Perez

Man City Team

Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva, Milner, Dzeko, Negredo

Now we’ve seen the teams, whats your score prediction? Leave your suggestions in the comments section.

I’m a Gooner and I sincerly hope we getting an absolute pounding today. Wenger’s incompetence in the transfer market with 100mil plus is a joke.
Its a sackable offense in my eyes
So i hope we get punded, Wenger gets ridiculed more than before and that he doesnt get his contract extension. Out with the old!!!

I’m afraid I agree with every word. To say we are title contenders with 2 kids between the sticks that wouldn’t be first choice for any other team is laughable. But makes you cry when you know we could have Cesar. Why a problem to pay him 70 when muppets like Bendtner have been bleeding us for 60?

Failing to qualify for the CL would have to be the last nail. I’ve loved and supported this club for over 45 years – that’s the club, not the manager or the Board. The club is overdue a new manager who can bring success.

D only prefessor who is a coach bt cannot win wot d least teams like swansea nd wigan can win. Shame to d old fool called wenger.

What is wrong with you SUPPOSED Gooner faithful?! Is it really Suarez or bust??? I miss seeing our team win trophies too, but after all that we have seen this ‘mediocre’ team do, you really have zero faith in them and Wenger?? Dont get me wrong, Wenger dilly dallied yet again and promised us what he needed to to keep us quiet. It sucks and we haven’t signed in areas we need to a improve. I’m none to pleased either but if you lifted your black veils you’d notice we put the pounding on city. You know the OTHER best defense in the league last year. They didn’t score until every sub we had was on the pitch. 3-1 to the Arsenal. I’m not saying things are peachy keen, but with the run of matches we have coming our team needs support more than it needs signings. One should not depend on the other. So I ask that you doom and gloom era lift up your skirts as try and find some pride. Arsenal TIL I DIE!
