Chelsea Transfer News: Blues Risk Missing Out On Winger
Chelsea could be set to miss out on exciting Sporting Lisbon ace Bruma with the player’s agent claiming the winger has several other offers on the table.
As football fans eagerly anticipate the return of live Premier League action this weekend, there is still the small matter of the transfer window to worry about so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Chelsea risk missing out on Bruma.
Chelsea could be set to miss out on Sporting Lisbon ace Bruma with the player’s agent claiming the winger has several other offers on the table, according to talkSPORT.
The report claims that Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bring the Portuguese attacker to Stamford Bridge this summer as he looks to further bolster his attacking options.
However, he will have to act quickly as the 18-year-old’s agent, Bebiano Gomes, has revealed that Real Madrid, PSV and Galatasaray have all submitted bids for the youngster, while there could also be interest from Porto and Benfica.
“I do not know if Benfica and Porto are interested in the player. For now there are proposals from Real Madrid, PSV and Galatasaray. If we should get proposals from Porto or Benfica they will be considered just like the others.” Gomes is quoted as saying by talkSPORT
Bruma has emerged as one of the most exciting young attackers in Europe after breaking into the Lisbon first team and further enhanced his reputation after scoring five goals in Portugal’s four Under-20 World Cup games earlier this summer.
While he’s a huge talent, he’d likely be nothing more than a squad player if he did make the move to Chelsea but it seems the west Londoners have some stiff competition if they want to land the tricky winger this summer.
