[Teams] Liverpool vs Man Utd: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on September 1, 2013

Liverpool welcome fierce rivals Manchester United to Anfield today, and we have the teams.

David Moyes arrives having never won a game at Anfield during his time as Everton boss so he’ll be looking to put that right today. However, he’ll have to do it without Wayne Rooney after the striker was injured during training on Friday.

Tom Cleverley and Ryan Giggs start but there is no Shinji Kagawa, who doesn’t even make the bench.

Kolo Toure has failed a late fitness test for Liverpool, so Martin Skrtel returns in defence. Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Jose Enrique, Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson, Aspas, Coutinho, Sturridge

Subs: Jones, Sterling, Wisdom, Kelly, Ibe, Flanagan, Alberto.

Man Utd

De Gea; Jones, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra; Cleverley, Carrick; Young, Welbeck, Giggs; Van Persie

Subs: Lindegaard, Smalling, Buttner, Anderson, Nani, Valencia, Hernandez

Now we’ve seen the teams, what’s your score prediction?
