Arsenal welcome rivals Tottenham to the Emirates on Sunday afternoon for the first north London derby of the new season.

Arsenal have received an early blow with the news that Bacary Sagna was ill overnight so is only fit enough to make the bench. Laurent Koscielny comes in alongside Per Mertesacker at the back.

Tottenham’s new signing Erik Lameka is on the bench as AVB goes with Soldado, Chadli and Townsend in his attacking front three.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Cazorla, Walcott, Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Sagna, Monreal, Flamini, Zelalem, Gnabry, Sanogo

Lloris; Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Rose; Capoue, Paulinho; Townsend, Dembele, Chadli; Soldado.

Subs: Friedel, Naughton, Holtby, Lamela, Sandro, Sigurdsson, Defoe

    I believe in these 11players.
They are as good as many but not as good as we need across the team.
But this is the time to get behind our boys.
We shall not let them past.
Backs to the wall – we are in this together
    C’mon you Gunners!!!
